Autism Caregivers: Compassionate ABA

Service Description

Guided by compassionate professionals, including a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), our three-part series provides invaluable guidance for caregivers of children with autism. In the first session, we delve into understanding routines, emphasizing their crucial role in providing structure and predictability for children with autism. Caregivrs will learn effective strategies for establishing and maintaining routines at home, promoting stability and comfort for their child. The second session combines behavior modification with emotional regulation, providing insights into managing challenging behaviors while also addressing the emotional needs of both children and caregivers. Caregivers will gain practical techniques for behavior management and learn strategies to support their child in regulating emotions effectively. In the third session, we focus on navigating the educational system, offering guidance on understanding and advocating for appropriate accommodations, collaborating with educators, and ensuring that children receive the support they need to excel academically and socially. With our compassionate and comprehensive approach, caregivers will empower their child to feel safe, supported, and socially connected, fostering a positive journey for both the child and caregiver.
